Was Jesus Tempted?

Hebrews 4:14-16 (ESV) 14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Was Jesus truly tempted?   While most in the Christian faith are willing to agree that Jesus was entirely sinless in every respect, there is some debate as to whether He was ever really tempted to sin.   Many would ask: If Jesus was perfect and without sin, and it was ordained since before time that He would be the sinless sacrifice for the sins of the world than how is it that He could be truly tempted to sin?   Was His temptation real? Jesus, The Great High Priest!

Hebrews 4:14-16 (ESV)  "14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."  For we are not alone! Our hope is hidden in Him. Hold fast than church. Hold fast to your confession and faith in Him. He is worthy!  Our God-Man has lived and died for us. He was tempted for us and conquered temptation, and sin, and death for us! He lives now and sympathizes for you right now. Whatever you are going through...He
